BABYBI GUIDE

How to read textile care instructions

What to check on the label before washing, drying and storing Babybi products.

Start with the product label

Textiles do not all need the same care. Covers, fillings, trims and personalised embroidery can have different restrictions. Before the first wash, read the product label and any instructions supplied with it. Check the materials and care section on the Babybi product page. If information differs or is unclear, contact the shop with a photo of the label and your order number.

Check which parts are removable

Before putting the whole product in a washing machine, check whether the instructions allow only the cover to be washed. Do not remove filling or open seams that are not intended to be opened. For zips or detachable parts, follow the instructions for those components. Check whether embroidery or trims require additional care. Do not choose a temperature, bleach or cleaning chemical based only on how the fabric looks.

Drying and storage

Permission to machine wash does not automatically mean tumble drying is allowed. Check drying instructions separately and follow any heat restrictions. Before storage, make sure all layers are completely dry. Keep the product in a clean, dry place and retain the label, or a photo of it, for the next wash. If you notice damage to fabric or seams, ask for advice about that specific product before using it again.
